reporting for duty

Have a look at my latest endeavor at the Post-Dispatch. This project has been in the works for months. We tried some new things with the piece - a Hollywood-style trailer, sharing via a YouTube channel, live daily updates. Editing the trailer was a different and, surprisingly, fun experience. Photographer David Carson and reporter Phil O'Connor spent time chronicling basic training at Fort Leonard Wood. The stories are intimate. The videos put you right there. I'm proud to have been a part of this project. I hope that you'll take a look.
