all design begins
with a single line
the line of time
the string of beauty
the link that connects all
the divide that hurts all
the line that works
for and against us
it's just a line
until we make it
something greater
and fill the page
around the line
defining the line
giving it context
creating sides
in the end
we all see something different
but our beginnings were the same
with a single line
