The USCGC Polar Sea sits on Alaskan Way. Much of the year, it spends its time breaking ice in the Antarctic. She was the first U.S. surface ship to reach the North Pole. My friend lives on the Polar Sea.

How I miss posting to you, blog. Things are looking good. I officially started a 10-day vacation today. Now if only I could find my 2GB SD card with all those pictures on it, I could post something. When I have time, there are no pictures. When I have pictures to post, there is no time. I will find that SD card. Cross your fingers.
