This is a Cincinnati must. I've had Blizzards at the Dairy Queen. I've had concretes at Shakey's. I've had a Ted Drewes variation of the same ice cream and candy mix. This weekend, Graeter's took these all to the next level. Their titanic chunks of candy and chocolate inside of the ice cream was absurdly delicious. It's more like, want a little ice cream with that chocolate and toffee? It was a real treat.

pupdate

So I fell in love with Puddin' (pictured below), but a family adopted her before I had the chance. So I spent some time at the shelter playing with other dogs and wasn't feeling "it" ... until I met DOT! She was a precious, shy girl. Mostly white with a bit of black on her eye and near her rump. I didn't want to leave her little Jack Russell face on Saturday. I faxed the application first thing Monday morning. I called the shelter and left a message. I emailed them. By Monday night, I hadn't heard a thing. I called Tuesday. She was still there ... but she wasn't mine. Someone else had adopted her early Monday morning. I am going to take this as a sign that it's not time for a dog. This was my third unrequited puppy love experience in two weeks. Goodbye, Stitch. Hope you love your new family, Puddin'. Thinking of you, Dot.

She's sweet and available. Should I take her? Am I ready for a dog in my life? I'm all ears. Her mother is in one of the photographs saying, "Give my daughter a good home." The pair was found sitting on a road. They are Doxie/Terrier mixes. Right now the mother's name is Cupcake and the little one is Puddin'. When I laughed at the name the woman at the shelter said, "Rename her! We run out of names around here." So I guess if I get her, the next poll is going to be, what should I name her? Stitches? Leica? Ideas?
